<This was done last year, but I deleted by accident that post about this craft.
So I re-post the photos.>
It is called 'cartonage', meaning is fabric covered box.
I bought that paper case at [Sammie's warehouse] by $1 on closing down sale.
It was not a perfect condition but holding its shape.
So I thought to cover it with something would be nice.
It looked like a small suitcase.
You know, there was a handle to carry and some little hook-ish thing to lock.
I removed all the metallic things and started to cover with two types of linen.
The blue base with white dot fabric is my favorite 'Yuwa half linen'.
I glued them with stick glue which looks like a chapstick.

Ok, I skipped the rest of working process. :)
Here is the completed one.
And now I am using it as a container for my 'unfinished' small size quilt kits.
