Few books by Koseki Suzuko

I have some Japanese books for quilt.
Actually I had collected many Japanese sewing books for years until I moved into Australia.
Because of the weight limit for moving packages,
I had to sell or give away almost of them.

I should take these books with me, though.
She is my favorite Japanese quilter.
I have left 4 books of her works.
Here's a tiny little sneak peak!

<I added links where you can buy the English version of these books
in case you end up wanting to have your own book;)
Or you can do googling of course! >

[ミシンだからうれしいの。] + [ミシンだからうれしいの。02]
Eng ver : [Patchwork Style]

[キルトで綴る日々。]
Eng ver : Natural Patchwork

[Colour Couture―色で楽しむパッチワーク]
Eng ver : Colour Couture Patchwork

All of them are so colorful, vivid and bold.
And the best thing is they are so different from any other Japanese quilts.
I just love her works.

Crochet Blanket

This was in last year.
I was planing the order of colors.

And this is current.

Somehow, I can grab the hook only in winter. Haha...

Maybe I was just too lazy.

A gift

Stephanie | Tuesday, September 15, 2015
For a little girl.
My little one was invited to a birthday party of his friend.
She is so adorable, so I always think when I see her, I wish I had a daughter.

Because it was the first time that I gave something I made to anyone as a gift, I had been nervous until I heard from her mum that she liked that.
Well, I should get bolder :)
